
Here in the west coast of Canada the rains fall, the sun shines and the trees grow tall. This is ultimately home for us with sandy beaches to walk and mountains welcoming a hike into the wild. But we are gypsies, digital nomads. So we say goodbye to the Land of Tall Trees and embrace the adventure of the great beyond, once again.
The pictures here are taken within the haunting old growth of Cathedral Grove Forest which can be found on the windy drive from Nanaimo, on the east coast of Vancouver Island, towards Tofino and its miles of sandy beaches - the farthest west you can go in the great nation of Canada.
One of our sons came down for a visit before we left on this epic world tour. So my wife and Mackenzie took a drive up to wander under giants who have watched as a nation grew and a new group of faces stared up in awe.
