The Cliffs of Moher.
As it happens the day we made the trek up to see the cliffs, the clouds fell over the land and visibility was limited to about 50 ft. So images like you see here in this video were impossible. And yet it is still worth the trip up to this area. The drive up is breathtaking and once you arrive there is quite an informative and interactive museum there with lots to see and do. We stopped off along the coastal drive, called the Wild Atlantic Way, at a spot where there were some smaller cliffs. Walking as close as we could to the edge, we breathed the fresh ocean air and just loved the rugged landscape and crashing waves. If you get a chance to do the drive around Ireland's Atlantic side - it comes highly recommended.
